DONATIONS NEEDED FOR HURRICANE RELIEF

The VFW Memorial Post 5360 in Newton will be making a relief run to North Carolina on Saturday, October 12th.

Items needed are vitamins, baby supplies, butane tanks, sweatpants, toothbrushes, flashlights, lighter fluid, first aid kits, protein drinks, heaters, sweatshirts, toothpaste, batteries, water, dehydrated food, gas stoves, blankets, dog and cat food, paper products, but spray, charcoal, socks, personal hygiene products, equine/cattle feed, and nonperishable food.

Donations can be dropped off at VFW Post 5360 at 85 Mill Street in Newton through Friday, October 11th from Noon to 5pm. If pick up is needed, please contact Commander Frank Smith at 201-264-6774. Monetary donations are also accepted. Checks can be made payable to VFW Post 5360.
