This initiative, requested by the Mayor and City Council at their September 2024 Legislative Meeting, aims to transform the 200 block into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly space.
The pilot will allow the City to test the feasibility of this change while gathering valuable community feedback. (The City conducted similar pilots in the Unit and 100 blocks of King Street, both of which are now permanent pedestrian zones.)
