The shooting incident in the Arbor Lodge Neighborhood Wednesday is a confirmed homicide. The victim is identified as Tracy S. Rasberry, 24, of Portland. His family has been notified of his death and is asking for privacy at this time.
The medical examiner confirmed his identity and determined that he died of homicide by gunshot wound.

One person is deceased following a shooting in the Arbor Lodge Neighborhood.
On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 5:27 a.m., officers assigned to the Portland Police Bureau's North Precinct responded to reports of a shooting in the area of North Atlantic Avenue and North Buffalo Street. When they arrived, officers found one adult male deceased. The suspect(s) had fled the area. No arrests have been made.
PPB's Homicide Unit responded to the scene to investigate. Streets in the area will be closed for the duration of the investigation.
