Telephone conversation with President of the Central African Republic Faustin-Archange Touadera

The leaders discussed the current state and prospects for the further development of friendly bilateral relations in the political, trade, economic, humanitarian and other spheres.

The leaders exchanged views on regional issues, focusing on countering terrorist threat and ensuring stability throughout the Central African Republic. The President of Russia reaffirmed Russia's commitment to further assisting the CAR in strengthening the nation's economy, sovereignty and security. Faustin-Archange Touadéra expressed his gratitude for the all-round assistance provided by Russia.

It was agreed to maintain contacts at various levels.
