Water Meter Replacement Program: Village Outreach

The Village's water meter replacement program is coming to an end. Nearly all water meters older than 7 years have been replaced. Despite multiple attempts to reach certain customers, there are still some water meters urgently requiring replacement. A final notice was sent to those addresses this week. The Village plans to reach out to these remaining water customers by phone to request that they schedule an appointment with Water Resources, Inc.

If you receive a phone call from the Village regarding the water meter, Village staff will not ask for personal information, nor will they request any kind of payment. They are merely following up on the multiple letters that were mailed, in addition to door hangers that were placed at your address, urging water customers to schedule a free appointment with Water Resources to have their water meter replaced immediately.
