JaX is movin’ and groovin’ for higher education

JaX the Jaguar, the University of Houston-Victoria's mascot, poses for a photo Sunday with members of the Victoria East High School Golden Sabers dance team during the Movin' and Groovin' Back to School Event at the Victoria Mall. JaX was at the event with UHV staff members to greet and encourage students as they prepared to go back to school. They also spoke with high school seniors and high school graduates about continuing their education at UHV. Registration for UHV's fall semester is open.
