Drug and Firearms Squad detectives charge fourth person following further investigations into a Revesby drug lab

Drug and Firearms Squad detectives have charged a fourth person and seized a further 200kg of precursor chemicals at a Revesby drug lab as investigations continue under Strike Force Reply.

In March 2024, officers attached to State Crime Command's Drug and Firearms Squad - with the assistance of Australian Border Force (ABF) - commenced an investigation under Strike Force Reply into the alleged manufacture and supply of prohibited drugs, in particular methylamphetamine.

Following investigations, strike force detectives - with assistance from the Raptor and Public Order Riot Squads and Fire and Rescue NSW - executed four search warrants on properties at Revesby, Bankstown, Sefton, and Parramatta on Tuesday 25 June 2024.

Those searches resulted in the seizure of over 90kg of illicit drugs with an estimated street value of $5.5 million, over $150,000 cash, a pistol and 150kg of precursor chemicals.

Detectives charged three men for their alleged roles in the manufacturing and supply of illicit drugs in these labs. All three men remain before the courts.

With the assistance of specialist police from the Chemical Operations Team, officers went on to seize a further 200kg of precursor chemicals and $15,000 in cash from the labs.

Following further extensive investigations, strike force detectives arrested a 37-year-old woman at Bankstown Police Station yesterday (Wednesday 3 July 2024).

She was charged with take part manufacture prohibited drug large commercial quantity, participate in criminal group contribute criminal activity and possess prohibited drug.

The woman was refused bail to appear before Bankstown Local Court yesterday, where she was further refused bail to appear before Burwood Local Court on Wednesday 28 August 2024.

Police will allege in court the woman leased the Revesby property to the men for the purpose of establishing a large-scale drug lab.
