Montoursville, PA - Motorists are advised that a portion of Little Mexico Road (Route 1013) will be closed during daylight hours in Jackson Township, Snyder County, for a bridge preservation project.

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, and Wednesday, October 16, 2024, Little Mexico Road will be closed between Benfer Drive and the Little Mexico Campground while Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) bridge crew completes preservation work begun late last spring. Work includes forming for concrete fill of the open steel decking over the abutment tops at each end of the structure. Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting.

An approximate 5.8-mile detour using Route 204, Route 304, and the east side of Little Mexico Road will be in place while work is performed.
