San Salvador, December 9, 2024.- As part of the DINÁMICA II Initiative, a tripartite effort of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), the Government of Germany, through KfW, and the European Union, a Non-Refundable Technical Assistance agreement was signed with the Fundación Salvadoreña de Apoyo Integral (FUSAI).
The objective of this agreement is to implement a training program focused on the development of key leadership and management competencies. This initiative seeks to strengthen organizational effectiveness through the strategic training of its personnel in modern tools and methodologies for management strengthening.
With the resources granted, 8 professionals from FUSAI's School of Leading Industrialists (LID) team will be directly strengthened through a program of organizational coaching and another of high cohesion and methodological alignment in the models of activation and business acceleration that will be implemented. Both programs will strengthen the team in different topics and provide them with innovative tools to enhance their performance and promote business transformation. In addition, the knowledge acquired will be shared with all the Foundation's personnel, who are responsible for accompanying and advising more than 700 beneficiaries in their entrepreneurial ecosystems, 76% of whom are women and 24% men.
This program fosters teamwork through a series of organized methodological activities that strengthen coaching skills, empowering management and leadership to guide change processes with entrepreneurs. It also contributes to the development of a more dynamic and efficient environment, oriented towards excellence and the achievement of institutional objectives.
This significant investment in the professional growth of FUSAI's collaborators represents a solid boost to the development of entrepreneurship, innovation and the MSME sector in El Salvador. Thanks to the DINAMICA II Initiative, more than 103 micro and small enterprises have been strengthened with non-reimbursable resources from Small Grants, and approximately US$2 million has been allocated to support Business Development Centers, entrepreneurship, and MSMEs through technical assistance.
