Mr. Magramane, Bogdanov co chair 3rd Algerian Russian political consultations

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Lounes Magramane, went Wednesday to Moscow to chair the 3rd Algerian-Russian political consultations with the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa, Mikhail Bogdanov.

During this meeting, both parties examined the state of bilateral relations and explored ways to boost cooperation between the two countries, as part of continuing the implementation of the Declaration of Deepened Strategic Partnership, signed on the occasion of the visit of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to Russia in June 2023.

The session's agenda also was an opportunity to exchange views on a number of current issues regionally and internationally, notably developments in the Sahel, the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Sahrawi issue.
