Sanford Health to host Safe Kids Safety Day on August 9

BISMARCK, N.D. - Sanford Health and Safe Kids Bismarck-Mandan are hosting Safety Day with local agencies on August 9 from 1-6 p.m. outside the North Dakota State Capitol building.

Families are invited to enjoy a day of fun activities while learning about wellness, including hands only CPR, weather safety, cooking safety, pet safety, and baby-proofing homes. Activities will also include a bounce house, face paint, a food truck, bicycle helmet fitting, an obstacle course and tables with hands-on activities.

Participating agencies include: Safe Kids Bismarck-Mandan, Sanford AirMed, Bismarck Fire and Rescue, Bismarck Police Department, Bismarck Burleigh Public Health, Red Cross, BECEP, Bismarck Sanford Children's Hospital and Child Life Services, Sanford Trauma Services and more.

The event is free to the public.
