Anne Wilson Secures Four GMA Dove Award Nominations

Wilson to headline The REBEL Tour this September

"Songs About Whiskey" at Country radio now; "The Cross (with Chris Tomlin)" impacts Christian radio this Friday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - PLATINUM-certified, GRAMMY-nominated artist and songwriter Anne Wilson earns four nominations ahead of the 55th annual GMA Dove Awards, taking place on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at the Allen Arena in Nashville, Tenn.. The recent recognition brings her Dove total to eleven nominations and two wins in the last two years, marking another milestone in her illustrious career. Wilson received her first nomination for Artist of the Year along with nods for Pop/Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for "Strong," Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year for "Praying Woman" with Lainey Wilson and Bluegrass/Country/Roots Album of the Year for REBEL. The Awards will air exclusively on TBN and TBN+ and simulcast on SiriusXM The Message on Friday, October 4 at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. ET.

"I'm so incredibly grateful to be nominated for four Dove Awards this year, including my first-time nomination for 'Artist of the Year,'" shares Wilson. "God is so good and gracious to give me this platform to write and sing songs for His glory. I look forward to being together with all my friends and my GMA family!"

Despite being only 22 years old, Wilson has already amassed an impressive array of accolades, including winning a Billboard Music Award, multiple K-LOVE Fan Awards and nominations from the GRAMMYs, CMT and American Music Awards. The trailblazing artist also recently crossed the one billion global career streams threshold, just three years into her burgeoning career.

Earlier this month, "Songs About Whiskey," Wilson's "upbeat banger" (GRAMMY) from her sophomore album REBEL, impacted Country airwaves. She simultaneously will spin on Christian radio with "The Cross (with Chris Tomlin)," impacting this Friday (7/26). Combining much-needed encouragement, vulnerability and transparency into a perfect balance that footholds the space between the dead-end road paved in dirt and the church pew of redemption on Sunday morning, the Jeff Pardo and Jonathan Smith-produced record emerges as a powerful message of faith. Collaborations with some of Christian and Country music's biggest names bolster the album, enlisting reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson for "Praying Woman," GRAMMY-Award winner Tomlin for "The Cross" and Country superstar Jordan Davis for "Country Gold."

Last weekend at Faster Horses in Michigan, superstar Jelly Roll brought out Wilson to perform "Save Me" during his headlining set. The surprise duet stunned the crowd, bringing Billboard to claim "the gospel-tinged song [had] an extra shot of urgency and fervor." She will continue to bring her captivating performance to this summer's hottest fairs and festivals before heading out on her nearly sold-out The REBEL Tour with special guest Jordan Rowe this fall.
