Nighttime Lane Closures Scheduled for the Interstate 80 Express Lane Project For Paving Work Beginning Monday September 9, 2024

Solano County - Caltrans has scheduled nightly lane closures on Eastbound and Westbound I-80 between Air Base Parkway in Fairfield and Leisure Town Rd in Vacaville. The work is scheduled nightly between Monday to Saturdays.

Crews will be paving and striping the final stretch for the I-80 Express project. Various traffic lanes on eastbound and westbound I-80 will be closed at various times overnight. At least one traffic lane on westbound I-80 and one traffic lane on eastbound I-80 will always remain open. This paving work will continue through Fall 2024.

The I-80 Express Lanes project is on-going and is estimated to be completed by Fall 2025. All work is weather and dependent.

Please be advised that temporary striping will be placed on the highway for the lane lines until the paving and final striping is complete. Please drive with caution and alertness. Be Work Zone Alert and expect travel delays.
