GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION:
Petersburg, Alaska; northwest tip of Mitkof Island, located on "Turn Point", approximately 1.7-miles west of the Petersburg James A. Johnson Airport. The lease site is on a state-owned tideland parcel.
PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:
The lease site is located within Section 33, Township 58 South, Range 79 East, Copper River Meridian.
REQUESTED ACTIVITY:
On August 5th, 2024, a Final Finding Decision was signed for ADL 105555. DMLW approves the lease renewal and development diagram submitted under ADL 105555.
REQUESTED TERM: 25 years
DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: September 4th, 2024 The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be emailed to the adjudicator below or received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at Southeast Regional Land Office, PO Box 111020, Juneau, Alaska 99811 on or before 5:00 p.m. on the date noted above.
