Rep. Adams' Statement on the Passing of Congressman Bill Pascrell

CHARLOTTE - Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (NC-12), released the following statement on the passing of Congressman Bill Pascrell (NJ-09):

"Congressman Bill Pascrell loved his work and his community. He and I enjoyed discussing our shared experiences of growing up in New Jersey and serving as college professors. As a U.S. army soldier, Mayor, and Congressman, he never stopped fighting for the people of his state, especially public servants like firefighters. His strong presence will be missed. I will pray for him and for his family."
