Atlas Air Worldwide Announces CEO Michael Steen's Appointment to IATA Board of Governors

White Plains, N.Y., November 5, 2024 - Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, Inc. ("Atlas" or the "Company"), the leading global provider of outsourced aviation logistics, today announced that Michael Steen, President and Chief Executive Officer, Atlas Air Worldwide, has been appointed to the Board of Governors of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the global trade association representing more than 330 airlines across 120 countries.

With over 30 years of experience in aviation and logistics, Mr. Steen's appointment underscores his leadership at Atlas, where he has driven the Company's focus on safety, strategic expansion and operational excellence. As a member of the IATA Board of Governors, Mr. Steen will help shape industry standards, influence aviation policy, and advance initiatives supporting global connectivity and a safe, secure, and sustainable aviation sector.
