Convicted Felon Arrested for October 27 Murder of Woman at Apache Trail Apartment Complex

Jon Anthony Hamilton, 27, is jailed in lieu of $550,000 bond on charges of criminal homicide and aggravated assault stemming from the October 27th fatal shooting of Kianna Cayetano, 35, inside her apartment in the Hickory Lake complex at 3939 Apache Trail. Hamilton is also accused of causing a laceration to the throat of Cayetano's boyfriend, Jarred Kleinert, in the same incident. The investigation shows that Hamilton, who was an acquaintance of the victims, and an accomplice came to the apartment to rob them.

TITANS detectives arrested Hamilton Monday evening at the same apartment complex just as he returned home. Work is continuing to gather information on the accomplice.

Homicide Unit Detective Joseph Gawlowski is leading this investigation.

Hamilton was convicted of robbery in 2018 and received an eight-year probated sentence. He was arrested on a probation violation warrants in 2019 and June of this year.
