Wyoming Department of Workforce Services Announces Annual Fall Career Fair in Cheyenne

Cheyenne, WY - The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services (DWS) is excited to announce the Cheyenne Workforce Center's annual Fall Career Fair, scheduled for Wednesday, Sept.25, from 11 to 11:30 a.m. for veterans and 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m for all others. This year's event, held in collaboration with Laramie County Community College (LCCC) and the Military & Family Readiness Center, will take place at the Clay Pathfinder Building - ANB Leadership Center at LCCC. The event is free and open to the public.

"We have truly enjoyed our collaboration with LCCC and the Military & Family Readiness Center over the last several years," said Terri Wells, a Business Representative with the Cheyenne Workforce Center. "This event provides a unique opportunity for job seekers to connect directly with recruiters from businesses actively hiring in and around Cheyenne. Sometimes, that face-to-face interaction makes all the difference."

The Fall Career Fair is designed to unite job seekers and employers, providing a valuable platform for personal interactions that may not be available in today's predominantly online job application landscape. The event typically attracts over fifty employers from various industries, eager to meet potential candidates.

LCCC generously provides the venue and catering for the event. At the same time, the Military & Family Readiness Center offers volunteers on-site to assist veterans and their families, employers, and job seekers throughout the day of the event. These services include career exploration opportunities, education and training, employment readiness assistance, and employment connections.
