For Immediate Release: Aug. 5, 2024

DALLAS - While Dallas ISD has already filled 99% of open positions, innovative and enthusiastic educators still have time to join the Dallas ISD team this school year. The final summer job fair kicks off at 4 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, at Dr. L.G. Pinkston Sr. High School. Principals will be on-site for interviews, providing direct access to career opportunities.

Summer graduation
As students prepare to return to school, nearly 180 others are set to bid farewell to Dallas ISD. After years of hard work, these students will cross the stage at the district's summer graduation ceremony at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 7, at the Alfred J. Loos Field House.

August board briefing
The Dallas ISD Board of Trustees will meet at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 8, for the first board briefing of the 2024-2025 school year. A link to the livestream can be found here.
