Baldwin Meets with HACM Residents, Continues Push for Safe Living Conditions

MILWAUKEE, WI -Today, U.S. Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) released the following statement after meeting with Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (HACM) residents:

"I was grateful to meet and hear firsthand from some HACM residents who are fighting to improve conditions at their apartments. For more than a year, I have been working alongside them and calling on the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to address the deeply troubling reports of ongoing maintenance and sanitary issues at HACM properties. Regardless of where you live, every Wisconsinite deserves a safe, healthy place to call home. I remain committed to working with these residents to ensure their voices are heard and HUD is doing their job to keep Milwaukeeans safe."
