ABS CBN Global Asia Pacific sees tickets selling out for 'Eraserheads Huling El Bimbo World Tour 2024' stop in Singapore in November, alerts fans to b
SINGAPORE, July 3, 2024 - The much-talked about "Eraserheads Huling El Bimbo World Tour 2024" will only make one Asian tour stop and the lucky destination is Singapore, the Lion City of the region.
ABS-CBN Global Asia Pacific, in partnership with WEU Event Management Services and DVent Productions, is offering the Singapore-based fans of the most famous and successful Filipino rock band of all time a Thanksgiving treat this year when it brings the tour on November 23, Saturday, to the Arena @ EXPO (Hall 7). Located at Singapore EXPO, the country's largest meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) venue, the Arena @ EXPO is a newly refurbished state-of-the-art concert venue whose cutting-edge technology and flexible design space provide the best concert experience for artists and audiences.
Tickets to this only Asian stop of "Eraserheads Huling El Bimbo World Tour 2024" are already going fast and are projected to sell out very soon.
"We had just announced the concert and we've already sold half of the venue capacity," said Raymund Romero, Asia Pacific regional marketing head for ABS-CBN Global, Ltd. "There is no dilly-dallying for true Eraserheads fans. If they build it, they will come. So, we are reminding people that we do expect a packed house on November 23 and suggest you get your tickets now before they're completely gone."
This comes as no surprise after the band's last concert in the Philippines, "Ang Huling El Bimbo Reunion Concert", in December 2022 - which drew a crowd of 75,000 and was livestreamed to a global audience by ABS-CBN's streaming platform, iWantTFC - was honored with the Concert of the Year award at the 15th Philippine Movie Press Club's (PMPC) Star Awards for Music.
The Eraserheads is also coming off the heels of its successful North American tour in 2023. But for this world tour, the band is revamping its 2023 setlist to accommodate more of its underrated tracks as well as a few song covers. Expect "surprises" in every stop of the tour.
Composed of Ely Buendia (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Marcus Adoro (lead guitar), Buddy Zabala (bass) and Raimund Marasigan (drums), the "Eraserheads Huling El Bimbo World Tour 2024" is expected to be the biggest Filipino concert in Singapore which has a population of around 200,000 Filipinos.
