UW Oshkosh Homecoming Weekend will be filled with celebrations
Homecoming Weekend is fast approaching, and at UW Oshkosh, it's also Family Day!
The UW-Oshkosh Titans take on the Pioneers of UW-Platteville in the Homecoming football game at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19 at Titan Stadium. The Titan Thunder Marching Band will energize the crowd of Titan students, family members, friends and alumni.
Titan Tailgate, one of the main events for Homecoming and Family Day, takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Reeve Memorial Union, featuring free food and drinks and fun activities.
Weekend to honor Titan alumni
The UW Oshkosh Alumni Association will celebrate the talents and successes of 13 alumni during Homecoming Weekend. Four alumni will receive the Distinguished Alumni Award, two are receiving the Alumni Outstanding Service Award and seven are being honored with the Outstanding Young Alumni Award.

The UWO Alumni Awards Celebration will be held on Friday, Oct. 18, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Culver Family Welcome Center. Cost is $40 per person and includes dinner. Click here to register to attend the 2024 Alumni Awards Celebration.
Special anniversaries
The month of October marks some milestone anniversaries, with The Advance-Titan student newspaper's 130th Reunion Oct. 12; Radio TV Film celebrating 60 years Oct. 18-19; Delta Sigma Phi-Epsilon Beta celebrating 60 years with a reunion Oct. 18-19; and Model UN marking its 40th Anniversary Reunion on Oct. 19.
