Organised Crime Squad detectives have charged an unemployed Parramatta man after seizing multiple luxury vehicles and watches.
In May 2024, State Crime Command's Organised Crime Squad detectives - with assistance from the NSW Crime Commission - launched an investigation into the unexplained wealth of individuals with alleged links to organised crime networks.
Following investigations, on Sunday 11 July 2024, detectives executed a search warrant at a Parramatta unit.
During the search, detectives located and seized a Lamborghini Huracan, a Harley Davidson V-Rod and two Rolex watches.
All items seized are estimated to be worth over $500,000 combined.
Following inquiries, on Friday 16 August 2024, detectives charged a 39-year-old man - who has been receiving unemployment benefits since 2019 - with dishonestly possess interfered with unique identifier.
He was issued a Court Attendance Notice to appear before Parramatta Local Court on Friday 4 October 2024.
Investigations are continuing.
