Administration- received and filed the updated Board Directive reports, which include in-process and completed board direction items.

Received and filed the BCC's Board and Committee assignments.

Ratified Angelique Pickett as the Executive Director of the Criminal Justice Commission and Ivan Maldonado as Executive Director of Palm Tran.

Airports- approved Amendment #3 to the contract with AECOM Technical Services, Inc., for Consulting/Professional Services in the amount of $1,629,647 for consulting services related to the Palm Beach County Department Airports Capital Improvement Program.

Approved Amendment #6 to the Construction Manager at Risk Management Contract with Turner Construction Company in the amount of $1,031,742 for Phase 1 of the Aircraft Rescue Firefighting Facility at PBI.

Approved Amendment #12 with RS&H, Inc. in the amount of $1,115,945 for additional services related to Concourse B expansion project.

Clerk & Comptroller - received and filed the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report and Popular Financial Report for fiscal year ended September 30, 2023. Community Services- conceptually approved allocations for funding in the Financially Assisted Agency areas of Housing & Homelessness and Homeless prevention for Oct. 1, 2024 through Sept. 30, 2027 in an estimated total amount of $2,731,038 annually. Equal Business Opportunity- approved a contract with Griffin & Strong, P.C. to assess whether there is a continued disparity in the utilization of Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise in the amount of $425,531. Facilities - approved Amendment #3 with Kaufman Lynn Construction in the amount of $29,286,398 for Canyon District Park, Phase 2 project including soccer/multipurpose fields, restroom/concession facility, retention/recreational lakes and site improvements. Funding is from the Infrastructure Sales Tax Fund. Approved the purchase and sale of a 1.10 acre parcel of vacant land located north of Indiantown Road and east of Bee Line Highway from PF. OAKS LLC. This is an interior parcel located in an area known as Palm Beach Heights (part of the Pal-Mar Ecosite). The Pal-Mar Ecosite is part of a large ecological greenway that stretches from just west of the Atlantic Ocean to just east of Lake Okeechobee. Financial Management & Budget-authorized staff to submit a proposed not-to-exceed millage rate of 4.5 Countywide Non-Voted and maintain the proposed millage rates for Library and Fire Rescue for the FY 2025 budget to the Property Appraiser; and authorized public hearings on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024 and Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2024 at 5:05 p.m., in the 6th floor Commission Chambers of the Robert Weisman Governmental Center.Health Dept. - appointed Jeffrey Duncan and reappointed Trevor Rosecrans, P.E. to the Environmental Appeals Board. Housing and Economic Development -appointed Ashley Whidby, and Shirley Erazo to the Commission on Affordable Housing. Public Safety- adopted an ordinance pertaining to Adult Entertainment providing for work identification cards for persons working in adult entertainment establishment to be at least 21 years of age and requires new and renewal ID badge applicants will watch a human trafficking awareness video. Youth Services- conceptually approved allocations for funding in the Action Areas of Economic Access, Parenting and Role Models, and Educational Supports for Oct. 1, 2024 thought Sept. 30, 2027 in an estimated amount of $1,420,910 annually.
