Single Tracking Alert: Service to be reduced to one track at Orinda Station on select Sundays for trackway updates (next work dates: July 20-21)

The work on this project originally planned for July 7 has been postponed to Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21.
On select weekend days through the rest of 2024, service will be reduced from two tracks to one at Orinda Station for a series of trackway improvements.
This work will be happening on the following weekend days: Saturday, July 20; Sunday, July 21; Sunday, August 4; Sunday, September 8; Sunday, October 27; Sunday, November 17; and Sunday, December 15. Riders should expect delays of up to 10 minutes in the work area on these Sundays.
Reducing service to one track helps to ensure safe conditions for workers. Crews will be upgrading lighting in the Berkeley Hills Tunnel, replacing traction power cables, and installing electrical support equipment.
