Myakkahatchee Creek Greenway Trail selected for FRPA Facility Showcase

Published on September 16, 2024

We are thrilled to announce that the Myakkahatchee Creek Greenway Trail has been chosen as one of 20 outstanding projects in Florida to be featured in the Florida Recreation & Park Association's (FRPA) annual Facility Showcase. This prestigious recognition highlights park and recreation facilities that have been built or renovated within the past two years (2022-2024) under the management of a park and recreation department.

Selection factors include the project's alignment with FRPA's strategic pillars, partnerships, and its unique contributions to the community.

The Myakkahatchee Creek Greenway Trail will be showcased in the 2024 Winter edition of the FRPA Journal and on the FRPA Public Spaces and Facilities Showcase webpage. We look forward to celebrating this recognition with our community!
