DUBAI, UAE, 13 November 2024 - As part of its commitment to the 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' initiative and in response to the escalating humanitarian crisis in Lebanon, DAMAC has committed USD 10 million to Dubai Cares, a civil society organization formally associated with the United Nations Department of Global Communications (UN DGC), to bolster its emergency response and support displaced families in Lebanon. This significant contribution aims to deliver critical aid and meaningfully engage DAMAC employees in meaningful humanitarian efforts during Lebanon's time of need.
Dubai Cares, part of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), recently joined the 'UAE Stands with Lebanon' initiative, launching an emergency fundraising campaign that calls on the UAE community - including individuals, institutions, and businesses to come together in support of Lebanon. The campaign aims to raise essential funds to provide urgent relief for children and families affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis, ensuring that critical emergency aid reaches those most in need. In a show of solidarity, DAMAC has stepped in with a substantial commitment to support this effort, amplifying the campaign's impact and providing hope to those most affected.
This donation is more than just a financial gesture; it reflects DAMAC's deep-rooted commitment to global humanitarian causes. Over the years, DAMAC has consistently championed initiatives focused on education, skill development, and disaster relief. By supporting the relief efforts in Lebanon, DAMAC continues its mission to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need, especially during times of crisis.

Working closely with a trusted partner on the ground, Dubai Cares is committed to ensuring that donations translate into tangible relief for those most affected by this crisis.
