Traffic Advisory Tuolumne County 7/18/24

One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Tuolumne County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct lane closures next week on State Route-49 (SR-49), State Route (SR-108), and State Route 120 (SR-120) for construction and maintenance operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control between Mackey Ranch Road and the Montezuma Railroad Crossing for drainage work beginning Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Columbia Way and Rawhide Road for tree work beginning Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Sapphire Ridge Road to Reynolds Ferry Road for drainage work beginning Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26, 2024, from 7:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 108

  • One-way traffic control between Spring Gap Road and Herring Creek Road for drainage work beginning Monday, July 22, through Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Moving, alternating closures of the eastbound and westbound lanes between Sonora Pass and the SR-49 junction for a striping operation beginning Monday, July 22, through Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 120

  • One-way Traffic at the James E. Robert Memorial Bridge, north of Don Pedro Reservoir, for bridge inspections beginning Monday, July 22 through Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • Moving, alternating closures of the eastbound and westbound lanes between SR-49 and Yosemite National Park for a striping operation beginning, Monday, July 22 through Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. This work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
