Declaration of Temporary Housing and Shelter Emergency Extended

PUEBLO - Mayor of Pueblo Heather Graham issued a declaration of temporary housing and shelter emergency for the City of Pueblo beginning Sunday, November 10, 2024. This is pursuant to the provision of Ordinance No. 10058 and the declaration commences at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 10, 2024, and ending at 7:00 a.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024.

During this emergency, local churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and other religious institutions may utilize their buildings as temporary shelters for the City's homeless.

Mayor Graham has already declared temporary housing and shelter emergency from Tuesday, November 5 through Sunday, November 10 ending at 7:00 a.m. This issued declaration expands the timeline from the previous declaration.

The National Weather Service predicts continued snow and low temperatures for this period of time from November 10-15, 2024.
