In Memory of Doug Eikens

Dear North College Hill Community,

It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that I inform you of the death of our friend and colleague, Doug Eikens, who passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2024.

The entire City of North College Hill team wishes to express our deepest condolences to Doug's family and friends at this difficult time.

A life-long resident of NCH, Doug served the city for several years, in multiple positions. Most recently, he was our city's Code Enforcement Officer, CPR/AED trainer, and Fire Inspector.

Doug was a well-liked member of the NCH family, who warmly greeted his co-workers every day with words of kindness, asking "How are you doing today?" - and he really wanted to know!

He will truly be missed by everyone who had the privilege of working with him.
