NAIROBI: 22nd July, 2024

Nairobi City County's has been a buzz of activity as it hosted a series of vocational training job fairs across its 11 Vocational Training Centers (VTCs) in the past three months. These job fairs are part of a strategic initiative aimed at bridging the gap between vocational training and employment, providing students with opportunities to connect directly with potential employers and showcasing their skills.

Each of the 11 VTCs in Nairobi has been actively participating, organizing events that feature a diverse array of partners and organizations that support vocational training. These job fairs have included workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions where students can gain insights into the job market, understand employer expectations, and receive career guidance. The excitement is building as these individual VTC job fairs lead up to the main event scheduled for September this year. The culmination will be a comprehensive job fair, bringing together all the vocational training centers, potential employers, industry leaders, and stakeholders in a large-scale event designed to maximize employment opportunities for the students.
