Back To School Information

Lake Travis ISD students return to class next Wednesday, Aug. 14. Please be cautious on area roadways as we approach the beginning of the school year, and start getting re-familiar with our school zones as those will also be activated soon. Please watch your speeds, and keep an extra eye out for our littlest residents in those areas.

Also, this weekend will be a good chance to stock up on school supplies and clothing since it is also a Sales Tax Holiday from Friday, Aug. 9 through Sunday, Aug. 11. You can take advantage of tax-free purchases from a Texas store or from an online catalog seller doing business in Texas on purchases like most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks selling for less than $100.
