Redwood City Stands Firm on Gun Violence Prevention and Safety Measures

Redwood City, California - On September 27, 2024, at approximately 10:43 p.m., Redwood City Police Officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1600 block of El Camino Real. While the tragic loss of life is under investigation, this incident highlights Redwood City's ongoing commitment to addressing gun violence through proactive measures and strategic partnerships.

We are deeply committed to addressing gun violence in all its forms and remain focused on prevention through coordinated efforts," said Mayor Jeff Gee.
