Public Invited To Enjoy Free Fireworks Show
Blast Off In The Basin Scheduled For July 4
The public is invited to a free fireworks show at Buckskin Basin Park Thursday, July 4, 2024. Festivities get underway at 7 p.m. at the park, located at 7350 Buckskin Ave. The show, Blast Off In The Basin, is hosted by Ward 4 Councilwoman Francis Allen-Palenske and Ward 6 Councilwoman Nancy Brune.
The public is encouraged to enjoy this free fireworks show, and refrain from shooting off illegal fireworks, which now carries fines starting at $500.
The event will feature music and food trucks, with the fireworks display scheduled to begin at dark. An additional viewing area will be available at Wayne Bunker Park, located at 7351 W. Alexander Road. To view a map of the event space and surrounding area click here.
