BC Hosting Public Safety Expo 2024

The Bakersfield College Public Safety Training Department is excited to host the Public Safety Expo for the Fall 2024 semester. This event will take place on September 18th, from 10:00AM to 2:00PM on the Panorama Campus in the Huddle (near Memorial Stadium).
With over twenty vendors expected to attend, the Public Safety Expo is intended to provide BC students with the unique opportunity to meet with potential employers in the field, discover new career opportunities, personally observe the operations of each Public Safety Department, and learn more about Public Safety. Not only will this event positively educate attendees, but it will also assist our community partners in meeting new hires within a career field that is difficult to recruit for.
The Public Safety Training Department is dedicated to educating the community about the importance of Public Safety. Tiffany Sagbohan, the program manager of Public Safety Training Programs, shared her thoughts on the event, "[This] expo is important because it helps BC students and community members learn about Public Safety. They also have the opportunity to explore different careers in public safety and interact with professionals and employers in the field."
