Meeting with the Tzedaká Foundation to discuss its Assistance Program for Holocaust Survivors

On Wednesday, September 4, Foreign Minister Diana Mondino welcomed the visit of a delegation of the Tzedaká, including its President, Javier Suez, directors of the institution and survivors of the Shoá.

The Tzedaká Foundation is responsible for managing the only Assistance Program for Holocaust Survivors in our country, also standing out for its humanitarian and containment work. In this emotional meeting, the survivors presented the Foreign Minister with a copy of the book "Photos with History", a compilation of stories written by them in the Literature Workshop which is an integral part of the Program. They also left copies of the book to enrich the Library collection of the National Foreign Service Institute (ISEN).

During the meeting, they discussed the Foundation's social work with survivors in the country, including community assistance and support programs. Among them, distribution of medicines was highlighted, a work carried out in collaboration with the White Helmets Commission, the Ministry's body in charge of designing and executing international humanitarian assistance, strengthening cooperation in social and health actions.

This meeting reaffirms Argentina's commitment to the fight against anti-Semitism and in memory of the Holocaust.
