Ayahuasca is a mind-altering tea from the Amazon rainforest that is also increasingly used in shamanic ceremonies in the West. For some, this is a lifestyle, others seek healing from depression, trauma or addiction, and still others try to connect with angels, bodhisattvas or spirits through ayahuasca spirituality.
