On August 13, 2024, State Police assigned to the Troop G Community Stabilization Unit arrested Frank Maynard, 45, of Flushing Queens, NY, for two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree and a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation.

On August 13, 2024, at about 2:27 p.m., Troopers stopped a vehicle on Access Road in Albany, NY, for a Vehicle and Traffic Law violation. The driver was identified as Maynard. Further investigation discovered felony-weight narcotics allegedly packaged in a manner for sale in the vehicle which were seized.

Maynard and a passenger in the vehicle were taken into custody and transported to SP Latham. The passenger was released without charges, and Maynard was processed. Maynard was then transported to the Albany County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.
