Event Wrap: JANOG 54

APNIC supported and participated in JANOG 54 held in Nara, Japan from 3 to 5 July 2024.

The event welcomed one of it's largest ever audiences of over 3,200 in-person attendees who participated in discussion on a variety of topics including, AI, automation, RPKI and much more. The theme of the event was 'Connecting through discussion on the Internet'. View the program for more information.

APNIC activities:

• Joji Odagi hosted a booth alongside JPNIC where he welcomed several APNIC Members, answering their questions on APNIC membership, resource management, policy proposals, and promoting APNIC 58 and the 2024 APNIC Survey.
• Joji also took the opportunity to visit APNIC Members and the JPNIC office to strengthen relationships and discuss important Internet-related issues.
