Superintendents and Cabinet Members of the Year Applications Open

The deadline to submit nominations for both the Superintendent and Cabinet Members of the Year awards is August 9, 2024.

LACOE is accepting both Superintendent and Cabinet Members of the Year applications for 2024.

These recognition programs pay tribute to the talent and vision of school district leadership in L.A. County. Honorees are chosen based on their leadership for learning, excellence in communication, professionalism, commitment to equity and dedicated community involvement.

Submit nominations by Friday, Aug. 9, 2024. Anyone may nominate an individual that meets the established criteria.

Los Angeles County Superintendent of the Year

Eligible nominees are the superintendents in the 80 L.A. County K-12 public school districts who have at least three years of experience as a superintendent at their current district. Awardees are selected based on their leadership for learning, excellence in communication, professionalism, community involvement and commitment to equity. Nominate a Superintendent Here.

Los Angeles County Cabinet Members of the Year

This recognition program is open to all Cabinet Members in the 80 L.A. County K-12 public school districts with at least three years of service at their current district, who exemplify inspiring leadership, creativity, a strong commitment to equity and professionalism.
