The University of North Florida was recognized among the Top 25 Graphic Design Schools in the Southand Top 10 in Florida for Graphic Designby Animation Career Review.
Animation Career Review has published regional and national rankings since 2012 to provide students and their parents with a starting point to make an informed decision about the school they choose to attend and the program they pursue. Animation's Graphic Design School Rankings rate 696 colleges and universities based on academic reputation, employment data, admission selectivity, depth and breadth of the program, value as it relates to tuition and indebtedness, graduation rate and retention rate.
The Department of Art, Art History, and Design at UNF's College of Arts and Sciences offers a BFA program in Graphic Design, accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD). The program includes courses such as Type Communication, Graphic Symbols and Semiotics, Time-Based Media and UI and Interaction Design, and offers study abroad opportunities in Brazil, England, Ireland, Italy and Portugal. Graduates are well-prepared for positions in design studios, web and mobile agencies and advertising agencies. Many also find roles in in-house design teams across various industries, with a growing number pursuing creative careers within sports organizations-a field in which the program has become particularly well-regarded.
