Clarksville Parks & Recreation Invites Public Input on Bel-Aire Skatepark Design

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn,- Clarksville Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the second public input meeting for the new Bel-Aire Skatepark design. The meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 28th, from 5:45 PM to 7:45 PM at the Kleeman Recreation Center, located at 166 Cunningham Ln, Clarksville, TN 37042.

This community-driven project aims to create a modern, state-of-the-art skatepark that meets the needs of local skaters and the broader community. At the meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the progress of the design, provide feedback, and contribute ideas to ensure the final concept reflects the community's vision.

In addition to the in-person meeting, Clarksville Parks & Recreation is offering a digital survey for those who cannot attend. The survey will be open from August 28th to September 11th, allowing community members to share their input on the skatepark's design from the comfort of their homes. The survey can be accessed by visiting tinyurl.com/ClarksvilleTN-Meeting-2.

"We look forward to once again engaging with the community in shaping this exciting project," said Jennifer Letourneau, Director of Clarksville Parks & Recreation. "The Bel-Aire Skatepark will be a valuable addition to our city's recreational facilities, and we want to ensure it reflects the desires and needs of our residents."

This project is being developed in collaboration with Newline Skateparks, a leader in skatepark design and construction. Together, we aim to create a space that is not only a hub for skateboarding but also a welcoming environment for all park visitors.
