McCaul Condemns Biden/Harris Border Policies

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul - chairman emeritus of the House Committee on Homeland Security - released the following statement after voting for H.Res. 1371, a resolution condemning the failure of the Biden administration and its "border czar," Vice President Harris, to secure the border.

"President Biden gave Vice President Harris one job - 'border czar' - and she failed miserably. In three and a half years, she never visited a major crossing point at our southern border, refusing to witness the devastation their open border has inflicted on my state. The Biden/Harris administration's extreme policies have also signaled to terrorists around the world that our backdoor is wide open, posing the ultimate threat to our homeland. I'm proud to speak for my constituents in Central Texas by condemning her abysmal job performance and affirming that Americans deserve leaders who will protect them by securing our border."
