Matthew Perry, DO, FACOEP, FAAEM Named Medical Director of Conemaugh Physician Group

Conemaugh Health System is proud to announce the appointment of Matthew Perry, DO, FACOEP, FAAEM, as the new Medical Director of Conemaugh Physician Group.

In his expanded role, Dr. Perry will spearhead initiatives to grow Conemaugh's provider network and cultivate partnerships that reinforce its position as a trusted healthcare leader in Southcentral Pennsylvania. His focus on innovation, safety, and patient-centered care will directly benefit local families by improving access to services and enhancing the quality of care delivered close to home.

A seasoned leader in the hospital system, Dr. Perry has served as Chairman of the Department of Emergency Medicine since 2020 and has been a faculty member of the Emergency Medicine Residency Program since 2012. He also holds the Regional EM Medical Director position for Duke Lifepoint Conemaugh Health System.

A Johnstown native and Bishop McCort alumnus, Dr. Perry earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA, and holds a Bachelor of Science from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
