The California State University, Dominguez Hills (CSUDH) Department of Theatre and Dance presents Ignite: Faculty Dance Concert, artistic directed by dance faculty Chelsea Asman. Performances are in the University Theatre; the show will run Oct 31 and 31, and Nov. 1 and 2 at 7:00 p.m.

Dance has the power to inspire change. This season's annual faculty dance concert explores the concept of dance as a form of activism. From Pearl Primus to Bill T. Jones, our dance ancestors have used the power of dance to express their social and political calls to action. Following in the footsteps of these great choreographers, CSUDH dance students will perform new works by dance faculty with hope to ignite change in our community.

Tickets to Ignite: Faculty Dance Concert are $10 for students and $15 for General Admission. Tickets may be purchased for in-person experience at www.csudh.edu/theatre/tickets. Performances will take place in the University Theatre, located on the CSUDH campus, 1000 E. Victoria St. For driving directions and a map of campus, visit www.csudh.edu/directions. Parking permits are $10 and may be purchased at kiosks near each lot.
