ASAE Research Foundation Announces Recipients of 2024 ASAE-USAE Travel Scholarships

July 3, 2024

WASHINGTON- The ASAE Research Foundation has announced the recipients of the 2024 ASAE-USAE Travel Scholarship, developed to support a diverse pool of ASAE members who are committed to advancing their knowledge, network and career development and who would otherwise not be able to attend ASAE learning events due to budgetary constraints.

Through the ASAE-USAE Scholarship Fund, grants of up to $5,000 are awarded to three eligible association professionals to offset costs to attend the 2024 ASAE Annual Meeting & Exposition August 10-13 in Cleveland, plus two additional ASAE in-person educational events. Complimentary registration for these events is included in the award.

"Congratulations to these deserving 2024 ASAE-USAE Travel Scholarship recipients," said ASAE President and CEO Michelle Mason, FASAE, CAE. "We look forward to seeing these scholarship recipients take full advantage of the opportunities provided at the ASAE Annual Meeting and other ASAE events to advance their skillsets and make their mark in our community."

Nikki Shanks, MBA, CAE

ASAE-USAE Travel Scholarships are made possible as a result of a $100,000 donation to the ASAE Research Foundation in 2021 from Ross E. Heller, founder and publisher of USAE and CustomNEWS, Inc, for the creation of a restricted fund that provides financial assistance to ASAE members seeking to attend ASAE meetings. The ASAE-USAE Travel Scholarship honors Anne Daly Heller, who passed away in 2021.
