The Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS) is participating in the Federal Committee on Statistical Methodology (FCSM) 2024 Research and Policy Conference from Tuesday, October 22 to Thursday, October 24, 2024, in Hyattsville, MD. BJS staff are playing roles including serving on the planning committee, participating at the exhibition booth, and presenting on and chairing conference sessions. Session topic areas include survey methods, measurement, and data collection efforts, as well as discussions on the roles and responsibilities of statistical officials, defining relevance for statistical collections and data products, and more.
