Update #3 (FINAL): Water Main Break Resulting in Low Water Pressure in Areas of South Tampa

The precautionary boil water notice that was issued on July 2, 2024, for City of Tampa customers within the boundary below has been lifted.

• South of West Lancaster St
• West of Frog Pocket Pl
• North of North Boundary Blvd
• East of Picnic Island

The notice was lifted today after bacteriological samples showed the water meets quality standards. The Tampa Water Department had initially issued a precautionary boil water notice in an abundance of caution after a water main break caused low water pressure in this area.
