#2024-283588/North Precinct/Third Watch:

At 1700 hours, numerous 911 calls were received about shots fired being heard in the area of Carkeek park. Police arrived on scene and located approx. 30 fired cartridges. No victims / no property damage located. Patrol processed the scene.

#2024-283983/West Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1300 hours, officers were dispatched to 3 AV/Pine ST for an assault call. Transit security had detained an assault suspect. Per witnesses, suspect attacked an elderly male standing on the sidewalk. Incident was unprovoked and no words were exchanged before the incident. Prior to assault, suspect had been causing a disturbance in the transit tunnel yelling bias remarks. Suspect was sent to HMC prior to being booked into KCJ for felony assault. Victim was transported to HMC for facial and head injuries.

#2024-284191/North Precinct/Second Watch:

At 1734 hours, North Patrol was dispatched to a suspect waiving a knife around in front of the Nort Precinct. The person who reported this to 911 knew the suspect. Police discovered the suspect had multiple warrants out of Snohomish County for his arrest. When Officers tried to contact the suspect, he walked away. Officers tried to contact the suspect again and when they did the suspect began to pull a knife and walk towards the Officers. A taser was deployed and the suspect was taken into custody.

#2024-284394/East Precinct/Third Watch:

At 2147 hours, a Subject was arrested by Patrol and SFD FIU for Investigation of Arson for setting a fire. Subject is a person of interest in numerous other fires set in the area during the past month. ABS responded to conduct the follow-up investigation.
