MBA Announces Board of Governors and Committee Chairs for 2024
DENVER (October 27, 2024) - The Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA) today announced the members of its Residential Board of Governors (RESBOG), Commercial Real Estate/Multifamily Finance Board of Governors (COMBOG), and the respective chairs for each committee in 2025.
"I am ecstatic to work with the accomplished real estate finance leaders who make up the members of MBA's 2025 RESBOG and COMBOG," said Laura Escobar, 2025 MBA Chair and President of Lennar Mortgage. "Their expertise and teamwork will be essential as we address the numerous economic, legislative, and regulatory issues and opportunities that are impacting residential and commercial real estate."
RESBOG is the governing body for MBA's single-family residential members, responsible for establishing legislative and regulatory policies and positions on residential lending issues. David Battany, Guild Mortgage, will serve as RESBOG Chair in 2025. Dan Sugg, Michigan First Credit Union, will serve as RESBOG Vice Chair.
